This song came from the writing sessions for the second album while Thommy Razor was still pounding skins for the band.
Arcanium had included this song on the 2011 Digital Album Preview and made a video for the track.
This song was scrapped shortly after when Charley Huwig took over the drum duties and the writing process started anew.
lyrics
Close your eyes Forget the broken past The only way is if you look past it So read between the lines No words are spoken My heart’s been broken You better make it last The scent of decay eludes my senses although it’s obvious you’re dying The scent of decay eludes your senses although it’s obvious your dying What if there was only one more day Don’t say that you want me and then take it back There could be only one day left Choke back your tears You want it your way Every word you say pertains to yesterday So become what you will You’ve been infected I can’t digest it I wish you would just stay The scent of decay eludes my senses although it’s obvious you’re dying The scent of decay eludes your senses although it’s obvious you’re dying What if there was only one more day Don’t say that you want me and then take it back There could be only one day left The scent of decay eludes my senses although it’s obvious you’re dying The scent of decay eludes your senses although it’s obvious you’re dying The scent of decay eludes my senses although it’s obvious you’re dying The scent of decay eludes your senses although it’s obvious you’re dying What if there was only one more day Don’t say that you want me and then take it back There could be only one day left
